The hotly rumoured port of Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 looks to be a dead cert now, after the game’s achievements surfaced on the web.
An Xbox Live Arcade conversion of the game has been strongly rumoured for a while now. But despite some strong evidence, Capcom has yet to formally confirm that a port is in the pipeline.
This hasn’t stopped Xbox360achievements.org from publishing the game’s 12 achievements though – which is usually a cast iron indicator that a game is coming.
MvC2 was first release in the arcades in 2000 (and was followed by console conversions shortly afterwards), and still enjoys a strong reputation with hardcore gamers to this day.
The cat’s out of the bag now, Capcom. Hurry up and confirm it already.
